Highly recommend EasyVirtualChoir.com, super easy to use, and it is FREE! The software aligns audio/video tracks automatically and generates virtual choir videos instantly. Users have created videos for choir, band, chamber music, virtual rehearsal, online music teaching, choir dance, audition, recital, singing with sign language, drama practice, distance PE, skit etc., or simply for fun with friends and family. Educators have used it to integrate music, teacher instruction and student participation into one video. It’s a versatile visualization tool and virtual platform combined, especially useful for distance learning. It’s a fun way for teachers to engage remote students and provide timely feedback. Kids are excited to participate in the recording and see themselves in the generated video. The entire process is so simple and fast for both teachers and students, that most k-12 school teachers have got a class video created after just one period. Remote music lessons and online rehearsals have become so much easier with this software, which has made teachers thrilled, students delighted, and parents pleased. Some schools are using this software for in-person and hybrid teaching as well. Hope this free service will be helpful to your students too! ... See MoreSee Less

    FCS Families:

We are steadfast in our commitment to offer face-to-face instruction, for those families who have chosen it. We stay equally committed to the safety of our students and staff. The plan for Fulton County Schools to receive students and offer face-to-face instruction, remains the course beginning Tuesday, Jan 19.

In supporting this commitment, we are in constant consultation with public health officials and to date, we have received no recommendations to change that plan. District leadership continues monitoring the potential impact of community case numbers and managing our operations with a site-based strategy. The district recognizes the level of community spread is significant. However, as of our most recent report, the majority of our schools are reporting 2 or fewer cases.

We will continue to move schools to remote learning on a case-by-case basis, as needed. Decisions are made on the basis of our ability to complete contact tracing, disinfect facilities and provide staffing at each school.

Face-to-face instruction has already been delayed for one week to allow for our most vulnerable employees (those who met the Georgia Department of Public Health (GDPH) criteria for 1A+) to receive the vaccination if they chose. We are dedicated and are strongly advocating for all employees to have this opportunity as soon as possible.

The community is facing difficult times, and many have strong feelings about the best course of action for our schools. We understand and appreciate the different opinions.

We urge our entire community to continue to follow the recommendation of public health officials; wear a mask, maintain social distancing, wash your hands frequently, and remain home if you are sick or exhibit symptoms.
