Don't miss this SOI! Ms. Colburn of the Marietta Student Success Center will share her experience and ideas for meeting the needs that are preventing students from being successful academically including housing resources, mental health services, food pantry, etc. This program aligns with Fulton Schools’ strategic plan and supports several National PTA standards including supporting student success, speaking up for every student, and collaborating with the community.
9:00 – Networking 9:30 – 10:00 – Business meeting including Budget and Nominating Committee votes 10:00 – 11:30 – Leigh Colburn, founder and former director of the Graduate Marietta Student Success Center (GMSSC) and currently of The Centergy Project. Ms. Colburn will be speaking about her experience developing and running the GMSSC programs that help students get the resources they need outside the classroom so that they can be successful in the classroom.
